Bitstamp Pricing
Bitstamp.net offers a unified fee schedule for trading. The fees are based on the 30 days USD volume. Here are the details:
- For a 30 days USD volume of less than $10,000, the Standard Maker fee is 0.30% and the Standard Taker fee is 0.40%.
- As the 30 days USD volume increases, these fees decrease. For instance, for a volume of more than $1,000,000,000, both the Standard Maker and Taker fees are 0.00%.
- Bitstamp uses a maker-taker fee model to determine trading fees. Different fees apply to orders that provide liquidity (maker orders) and to orders that take liquidity (taker orders).
- Bitstamp also offers staking services with fees ranging from 15.00% for ETH and ALGO to 25.00% for ADA.
- There are also lending fees for different cryptocurrencies, with BTC at 27.27%, ETH at 23.08%, and XRP at 20.00%.
When buying and selling cryptocurrency with the Bitstamp app, the price seen includes spread-based pricing. There are no extra trading fees. For the Bitstamp Pro app, pricing is based on the maker-taker fee model.
